The M3 has become a best seller and for this we thank the hundreds of professional musicians using it. There is no better laptop for doing music on the market.
Many of our M3 customers have asked for this upgrade and that upgrade. So we decided over a cup of Tim Horton's to create a new model that is full featured and maxed out - this is the MusicXPC Professional M3x. You can order the M3x now. It is shipping and our dealers have pricing details and some already have stock.
What's different?
1. RAM: This music computing monster has the full 2GB of DDR2 533 RAM. What does this mean to a music producer like you? Well first of all, this is a whole new generation of RAM beyond the original super-fast RAM that shipped with the first M3. Second there is 2GB of it - the M3 now ships with 1GB of RAM.
2. CPU: The M3x comes with a 2GHz Pentium M running on a 533 front side bus. All Pentium M's are not created equal but rest assured that the CPU in the M3x is the fastest and most capable one around because of it's 2MB or Level 2 Cache.
3. HD: We decided to put a 7,200 RPM so that you have same blistering performance as the M2 and bumped the drive to 100GB.
The M3x comes with the same industry-standard back-up and restoration system that makes the MusicXPC the best choice in PC's anywhere and is finely crafted by our computer Guru Les Bateman. There are many imitators springing out of the woodwork but there is only one Les Bateman.
The M3x is in stores now. Don't wait another day, this is the ultimate production machine.
