Inside the MusicXPC there is space for one 5.25" device and two 3.5" devices. Each MusicXPC C3 comes with a DVD+/-RW optical drive and 2 Serial ATA 7200rpm 8MB cache Hard Drives housed in a detachable sub-chassis so the machine is already loaded right out of the box. Never before has so much music production power been packed into such a small, super quiet space. We still genuinely marvel at the power of the MusicXPC.

USB 2.0

With Universal Serial Bus you can add-on audio interfaces like Digidesign MBox in seconds. And because the MusicXPC is fully tested and compatible with virtually all professional audio interfaces and software applications, you can be up and running in seconds.

FIREWIRE

This interface is fast becoming the interface of choice for mobile musicians. The C3 features a mini FireWire port on the front and a full size port on the back. You can plug in your Digi002 or FireWire 410 and be recording in seconds. It's that easy and that fast.

PCI

The inclusion of a PCI slot means instant expandability using hundreds of existing audio interfaces and DSP cards. PCI has been the standard way of moving large amounts of audio to and from the computer system. Simple innovation like a rubber button on the chassis, ensure that your PCI card doesn't touch the power supply and create a short. The MusicXPC is small and will house virtually all 7" PCI cards.

8x AGP

For those who want access to the world of high performance video, the MusicXPC includes an 8x AGP slot for expanding with AGP video cards. If you are working with digital video, nothing can be more important than an AGP slot. The C4 comes with Intel's Extreme Graphics 2 for rendering smooth, detailed video and text.
