The Professional C6 is built for professional music production and therefore requires multiple hard drives. We know from experience that multiple drives are a tremendous way to safeguard your data. The Professional C6 comes with two SATA II 3.0 Gb/s, 7200 RPM, 32 MB cache hard drives that run fast and quiet. The drives also host a hidden partition that allows users to store system backups and images. The drives provide more than one and half TeraBytes of storage means that you can record weeks of CD-quality audio. You won't find this much storage on many computers in this price rage. And, because the drives are running at 7,200 RPM, it is possible to handle sessions with 200+ discrete audio tracks. You worry about the music, we worry about the technology.

Our RAM is supplied in matched-pairs or kits that are further tested for perfection using a combination of special RAM testing software and our own proprietary systems, methods and tools. By the time a Professional C6 arrives in your studio, it is certified "Gold." You can rest assured that the RAM inside is flawless and free of defects. There are eight USB 2.0, two FireWire® ports and a Gigabit LAN port to lessen bottlenecks when piping data over a network. We have tested the C6 with virtually all the USB and FireWire devices on the market and it rocks, even at very low latencies. SATA II throughout means blistering, direct connections between the C6 and internal & external hard drives. There are still the legacy PS2, COM and audio connections to make this not just a computer for your studio but a versatile computer capable of normal everday functional uses.

This protection is so robust that you can restore the C6 to its original factory state even after the drive was accidentally re-formatted.
